Hi Divers,

Just went to F&G this morning to make sure I'm legal for bugs and know the answers for our many in and out of state lobster enthusiasts. My license ($38.85), spiny lobster report card ($7.90) and ocean endorsement ($4.45) (all necessary according to F&G's employee) amounted to $48.75, less than I thought it would be. I was also told that you must have a valid 2008 sport fishing license in hand in order to purchase a lobster report card (along with your ID). For all of you who live close by, F&G's office located at 4665 Lampson is a great alternative to less informed sports retailers (thanks for the reminder, Don :). I was in and out in 5 minutes! I made sure to mention your comments about report card-less outlets to the F&G person too. They chalk it up to this being the first year.
