I have not been lately, but will be out there Oct 11. Local vis has been quite good lately, though. There are two local dive operators, Catalina Divers Supply, and Catalina Scuba Luv. The former operates a smaller rental area next to Casino point, but you will need to check on their schedule. Stop by the main shop on the pier to see if they are renting tanks out at the point. Or, just call... 310-510-0330
