You should take anti-mosquito precautions in general (DEET, permethrin, traveler's mosquito netting).

[URL="http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/13/health/13brod.html"]Dengue Fever[/URL] is just as prevalent and potentially deadly as malaria. I contracted it in PNG, and it felt like the flu times ten-to-the-tenth power: it was that painful & debilitating!!!
