I had the initial interview and - given that I've been involved with this in the other two regions - thought I had a pretty good chance to be named to the RSG. But I definitely, with my travel schedule, had misgivings about the time dedication required.

On August 28th, my mom died after a long illness and given that I'm going to spend the next few months essentially commuting between L.A. and Dover, DE, I knew that I simply wouldn't have the time to properly devote to this so I withdrew my name from consideration.

However, I hope to be named a member of the SIG (Statewide Interests Group) again and will have input in that fashion.
