no eyes? very strange..haven't heard of a fish without eyes. something could have come up from the deep if it was sick.

there's many different small sculpins that live in tidepools..the humann book has photos of most fish in this area.

you can try sifting through my field guide of so-cal UW life, look under sculpins & rockfish, or bottom-dwellers and see if you see your mystery fish. the link is at the end of this post.
