This is California. Divers are more mellow and if looking for a hunt, usually pick something they can make a meal of.
Cuz I collect the lore of the sea, I'll tell you an old story of one child of the earth that went into the water to find
his challenge if not his sanity.
He used a 12 gauge powerhead to hunt sharks off Florida. I won't judge the sport of wisdom of it, but he found the
adventures he craved. He said the shock could give quite the headache. As is often the case though, he didn't know when to
stop. Last heard of he wanted to make a 10 gauge powerhead with magnesium bullets. He wanted to hunt what he shouldn't. I don't
know the rest of the story.
The three rules for a guy, not that I've ever violated any or all of them:
Don't have pets meaner than you.
Don't marry anyone meaner than you.
Don't hunt anything meaner than you.
Keep your head.
