I posted a message here about the public hearing at the city hall a few weeks ago. The sand will be 8 feet above the EXTREME High Tide line. The will dig down and remove the asphalt beneath the junk that is there now, put the dirt back and then ad 1500 cubic yards of sand. They will also plant shrubs between the sand and the cobble beach.
