Strange night dive tonight. We had dirty brown water down to about sixty feet, then excellent visibility into the canyon. The water felt colder than the 56F my computer read. Among the critters spotted were Pleurobrachia californica, a juvenile Swell shark and a lobster grabbed by Merry in four feet, just before we ascended.
