Doing an in water rescue so as to bring a person onto the beach or back to the boat, even if you think they need (and they actually do) cpr to live exposes you to liability. This stupid ruling strips the in water rescuer of good samaritan protection. The case that was decided is identical to a diver towing, according to all accepted standards, an unconscious diver to the beach. You might win the case, but you will have to spend lots of money to fight it. And you might lose. Jerry
