I am not sure if the AED training will save anyone when someone has a heart attack underwater and drowns though. They are fine for someone who's alive experiencing cardiac arrhythmias, but not much good otherwise. The AED devices you have been trained to use DO NOT RESTART A STOPPED HEART. There is also going to be an additional operating cost passed onto the consumer when you have to refurb or replace the AED device pads, wires, batts, etc. The devices have a shelf life and expire. If you want to do something as an association that would purely be beneficial to the and divers, get certain members of your Associated to take charm school classes. That would be a big help. The Association owners still discuss who's charging what amongst themselves when they meet. Price fixing has been the usual among the boats for years. |
