The Presidential Inaugural Committee is promoting a National Weekend of Service, January 17-19th. The idea here is that communities and organizers come up with service-oriented projects that benefit their communities, the environment, etc.......

A website has been set up for organizers to create and promote events, and for potential volunteers to search for projects in their area.

A number of ocean and beach-related projects have already been added, but it's not too late to add more projects! The only limit is your imagination.
