How protected is the purple coral? Boats by the hoards anchor out there constantly. Both dive and fishing vessels. There has been talk about installing moorings there for a while but nothing has matured out of it. Maybe the California Dive Boat Association can start gather some funds for a mooring/ maintnance project.
