After replacing a bunch he decided to change the style to an inner bladder covered by a rugged cordura or other shell. I've never had a problem with my razer, but I use it like a BC should be used - just a puff for compensation at depth and just a bit more to float at the surface (I wear 8 to 12 lbs, depending on my suit, so an 18# wing works well for me).
