We hit Deadmans reef in Laguna last night, there was 3' wind chop and strong surge, but vis was a nice 15-20' on the backside of Deadmans. At 50' the temp was 55 degrees. Very nice considering the recent storms with more predicted for this weekend. We got 3 legals and I had a nice 7lb bull, my personal best for this area. There were 6 other divers out as well, only saw one other legal. We also saw some very large Bat Rays and big Sand Bass along with the usual colorful walls on Deadmans. Get out between storms and conditions can be pretty good.
