The Navionics maps have the best detail. The #12 Platinum+ map covers The west Coast from Canada to south of Baja, including the Sea of Cortez, plus Hawaii.

There are many GPSn units compatible with their maps.

I personally use a Lowrance iFinder H2Oc hand held with one of their Gold charts.
