The BEST detail would be a laptop running GlobalMapper with
Position input from a GPS and the Cal State Monterey Bay Seafloor
Mapping Lab 2M resolution bathymetry. Far more detail than the
commercially available charts.

It's possible to convert the SFML stuff to Garmin map format
contours, but the amount of data overwhelms the little processor
in the GPS. I did it for Pt. Lobos, and my Garmin 162 was taking
about a minute for each screen paint.
