There is a bit of history here.
A few years ago Phil and I went to celebrate Ross-O's birthday at the Elephant bar.
I penned the lyrics ripping off an old Woody Guthrie song.
Phil worked out the chord structure.
We practiced it a few times then snuck a guitar and ukulele into the resturant.
We performed it to a horrified Ross, and the whole resturant stopped to listen.

This was a redux with the lyrics changed and NO rehearsal. It shows...

Here are the lyrics.

"Happy 50 to Phil"

D A
Happy birthday to Phil,
D A
Happy happy birthday to Phil,
G A D
If he were to be hit by a truck oh no,
D
It would be quite a spill.

D A
Happy birthday to Phil,
D A
That sucker sure knows how to do a hill,
G A D
If he had only brakes oh no,
D
There would be no hospital bill.

D A
Happy birthday is sweet,
D A
Especially if you are over on that street.
G A D
How many miles per hour do you gotta go,
D
For all that asphalt to eat

D A
So happy birthday to Max,
D A
Happy happy birthday to Max,
G A D
We can't wait till he gets his boat oh no,
D
We're pretty sure he'd start wearing slacks.
