If anyone recalls a few months back, my gear was stolen.
I notified dive shops and posted on boards. Went to pawn shops. Nothin!

Then a wonderful thing happened.
Folks I have never met donated gear to me.
My faith in humans was revived.

I replaced all the rest and then some.

Then I got a call.

It seems that a local commercial diver was approached with a sob story. He bought some top shelf gear for cheap. It did not set well with him, so he went to Pacific Wilderness and asked If they knew of anyone ripped-off recently. They said YES and produced the list that I sent to shops to look out for.
The divers heart sank.
He called me, "Hey man, I think I got your stuff". I went to his house and sure enough there it was. The crook painted the tank crown to hide my name, but I wrote it under the boot too.

The diver diver shook his head and handed me the gear.
Did not ask for a dime.

Said "By the way, that is a great BC" (Dive-rite transplate with Hogarth rigging).
Yes it is says I.

I got to thinking What am I going to do with two transplates? This guy went out of his way to get my gear back to me. "Glad you like it... it is yours now". Honesty needs to be rewarded.

In the end I have given away 4 BC's, two regs, one wet suit, two tanks and more fins than I can count. It felt good to see Karma swing back.

Not with out precedent. Max Bottomtime has donated 2 dry suits a computer and a million fins to me.

So Divers PAY IT FORWARD. The good far out number the evil.

Giant thanks to; John Gordon Jr, Robert Rados,
And At Pacific wilderness James, Jeff, Eddie, Fred, Elaina, Bob, you guys rock.

Good people
