Phil kindly edited the videos and posted the above for me. I'll add some clarification. The little "stick" that appears to be attached to the squid egg capsule is actually the tube of a polychaete worm. The 4 mm worm came out today, showing off its marvelous head appendages. The tapered tentacles appear to be covered with cilia; if you look closely you can see them beating.
