Merry & Phil on the other hand, are delightful, intelligent, good looking people who know how to appreciate a worm! It's in the family Ampharetidae. The 4 pairs of smooth filaments are the branchiae; the pinnate filaments are the feeding tentacles. They're also used to manipulate suitable material into a tube and I'm sure this one was feeling very insecure without it's snug house.
