It's hard to believe but we're about halfway through the Chmaber Day "season". (I can hear a sigh of relief . . .) Actually, we're a day short of 5 weeks away from the event. And while that may seem like a long time, it'll creep up on us more quickly than one would think. And while we're happy to tell you that we've passed the $6000 mark on the Challenge, we've got a loooong ways to go.

One thought we'd like to give you, whether you've individually donated or not, is to get together a group of friends and start pooling your money into a group donation. Dive Vets and OCDiving.com are just two of the groups who did that quite successfully last year. (And will hopefully be repeating that again this year.)

But if you're a member of a shop or a club, get your customers together to give money as a group in your name. And if you can get it above $1000, that means you'll get your group's name on one of our Chmaber 35th birthday candles AND you'll be invited out to the Isthmus for the acutal party on October 4. Loads of fun for all and, best of all, money for our Chmaber to keep it on sound financial footing.

So . . . Who's next? Who will help push past $7000?
