Great diving this week until the swell came up. Dove Honaunau (Place of Refuge) twice and Manini Bay near Kealakekua. Dove Puako and Mahukona to the north island, and dove Pahoehoe three times, totally getting my butt kicked on Saturday. The surge took me out fast and I decided to get back in- hanging on to the rocks and finally pulling myself out of the rocks. Looked better on the top than it was. Looked for dive spots on Hilo side but not much. Didn't jump off of the rocks in Keauhou Bay and dive to the boat ramp this time, but the mantas were there. Great diving. B. Xavier
