We leaped-frogged over $8000 and have passed $9000!!! Good work boy and girls.

We have to give a lot of credit to our jump to Melinda Herndon of Scuba.com who has again this year pledged $1000 to the Challenge. Plus, we'll be putting Scuba.com's name up on our of our Chamber 35th Birthday Cake candles. That gets us up to 6½ candles out of 35. So we've got a ways to go. But we thank Melinda for pushing us a little further along.

And what better day than today, National Pecan Day (April 14 - no we're not nuts) to remind you of how important your contribution is to our Chamber. In fact, given that tomorrow is Tax Day, it's also a good time to remind you that a donation to the Challenge is 100% tax-deductible, whether it's $100 or $1000 or anything in-between.

So grab a handful of pecans, grab your 1040, sit down in front of your computer, and make a donation to support the Chamber Challenge.

Who's next???? Who will push us past $9999 and into the hallowed land of five-digit totals????
