Ocean Cove (just north of Ft. Ross) has a basic ramp -- the road down to the beach is steep, rough, narrow and curved. Many boat owners seem to manage though.

There's lots of great diving within an hour or less of the cove.

The campsite is very large and open -- the only downside is chem toilets, but if you can live with those it's fine.

I'm sure Eric or Brian can provide many other options.
