As Max pointed out from my previous post, I have dove Big Bear
Lake. Since that first dive in 2002, I have done it 6 other
times as well for a total of seven dives, all by the dam.

The last time was in 2008, the weekend after Labor Day weekend.
We once again found the old mixer and all the huge timbers
(which I have since learned were framing supports for the
large concrete pylon-like supports of the current bridge) plus
other odds and ends like a couple big steam fittings and the
like. For the future, I really don't see a reason to dive it
again. It's not a big area and we feel we've seen all there is
to see there more than once.
