(As of 4/24/09 - last update was 4/15/09)

We're now getting into the home stretch for Chamber Day 2009 and it’s getting to be crunch time.

Like many other charitable endeavors, we're running behind what our previous patterns have been. That doesn't mean we can't make up the lost ground. But it does mean that we’ve got to work a little harder in the 12 days to go until the event.

And what that means is that, if you're a store, maybe send out an e-mail blast to your customer base and ask them to participate. If you're a club, some similar contact would be appreciated to your membership. And if you're "just a diver" and you're already participating in Chamber Day, check with your diving friends and encourage (or badger) them to sign up as well.

As you'll see below, we've still got room on some boats, we've obviously got an unlimited amount of space on the Flying Dutchman, we've got seats available for Chamber Eve, and we can always use more help with the Chamber Challenge.

This event works best when the entire diving community pitches in to support our Chamber for the good of the greater diving community. No single person, store, club, boat, etc., can do it all. It's a collective effort that makes the individual efforts so worthwhile and meaningful. And for those of us already involved, please accept our invitation to join us in the cause.

Here's where we are as of 6PM on Friday, April 24:
