Perhaps its just good marketing on the part of Capt Jerry, for having such a "guide" available.
Perhaps one should make the distinction between a diver that "needs" a guide, and one that wants to have a guide.
After all, many a dive operation in the Caribbean (the Caymans comes to mind) will have "guides" in the water.. so those who choose to can still follow along, see things they would not have found on their own, etc..
Of course.. their should be the requirement to be properly trained or experienced enough to attempt the dive site.. but given that assumption.. having a guided option should only enhance the diver safety.
