Looking for hiking date for co-worker

I have a situration here that I doubt I should be involved in, but those are the siturations I tend to jump
into. Just shows that I never learn.
A co-worker, A..., is a biking and hiking fan. After seeing Chris' trip report on San Miguel Island where he
talked about the hiking group, I told A... that he should go there. He said he needed someone to go with. I said
I'd try to get him a hiking date... Do you know anyone appropriate? This guy is mid 30's, looks good enough to me,
gainfully employed and I suspect, somewhat shy... with all that follows that. Candidate should be relatively
near 405 & 101. Candidate should be fairly intelligent as this guy is a SW developer and they are sort of like
sort of intelligent. Somewhat cute would be appropriate. Probably a pre-date so you don't get stuck on boat
with bad chemistry.
This is diving related because I'm trying to talk him into getting certified.
