Just got back from Maui Tuesday. Had several dives, both boat (to Lanai & one to a manta ray cleaning station off Maui) & shore, with Extended Horizons. Loved them! They're out of Lahaina. http://www.extendedhorizons.com/ Enjoyed guides Victoria, Steve, Keith, and Todd. Good at pointing out interesting critters. Owner Eric was good about getting me set up with lots of dives.

Todd is also co-owner of North Shore Explorers, which runs trips for more advanced divers along the rougher northern shore. I didn't find out about them until my last day, so didn't get to dive with them, though I may find it necessary to make a special trip just to do so now. . . http://www.northshoreexplorers.com/

Also did one trip out of Kihei to Molokini Crater with Makena Coast Dive Charters http://www.mauiunderwater.com/ They did a professional job, but I wasn't as impressed with them as with Extended Horizons - maybe because I only dove with them once & didn't get to know the crew as well. (And the guides didn't do as much critter locating as the other outfit.)

I stayed at a time-share condo in Napili (One Napili Way) which was great for me - only 12 units & pretty private.
