I just got back a few weeks ago from a family wedding in the Mayan Riveria of Mexico, and had a great time. One of the highlights of the trip was our guided "cenote" aka cavern dive that the groom and I did. If you ever get the chance, check out one of these guided tours that some of the local shops will arrange. You dont need to be cave trained to do it, I was quite impressed.
