One has to wonder how many divers would show up on the boats if the "cost" or "donation" was $250 with half or so being tax deductable (cost minus fair market value of the trip is the deduction).

The boat owners are the ones who are contributing for the dive portion, regardless of tax deductions for expenses. They and thier crews are giving their time and folks like the Sundiver crew even gave thier tips for the day. That's class. Not to forget the chanber volunteers who provide the tour of the facility.

As for Ken, he has an open invitation to anyone who wants to run it to please step forward. Don't see anyone stepping up to the plate and we should be thankful for Ken and Karl for all that they do for our dive community.
