it's nice to see an individual post a logical, well thought out opinion on the board who actually works in the industry. it would seem like most of the postings i read are from purely recreational divers who have "real" jobs and enjoy diving as a weekend hobby. while it is very important to have these folks out there to spread the word to their peers about what they see, what we really need are the scientists, like yourself, who do study the populations of our dwindling resourse.

kudos to you, chris, and to those you work with who gave up the opportunity of the larger paycheck to take up a cause much more worthwhile....protecting our ocean resource and educating the public. thank you
