I've done Ft. Bragg several times in the past few years but would my arguments be any less valid if I hadn't? You realize the ocean is connected from the Oregon border to all the way south to Mexico? No walls separating the the north and the south from what I recall. You talk a lot about SoCal but when is the last time you dove here? Does that mean we should disregard eveything thing you say about it?
I have a question for you... how do you know a fishery is sustainable if you have no idea what the populations are? It's impossible actually.
I contend to use that word in this context is dishonest and that the people behind that release and folks who agree with it are just worried about fishing and nothing else.
