In small industries Mom & pop stores used to get 100% on small goods and consumables. This is because they do not have folks lined up all day long. So Quilting shops, music shops non essiencle industries need to charge more for the bread and butter items. Yea they have sales, loss leaders and special cheepo stuff, but at the end of the day they need to pay the kid behind the counter, their own morguages, and their offsprings tuition.
You want to deny them that?

The discount big ticket stuff all the time.

If $120 every couple of months is too much, it is your fault for not organizing your capital. Can starbucks, cook at home, less theatre, I bet you can do it Dan!
