Hey gonph., My group of divers shares many of your thoughts. We take game while diving and have no problem with the prospect of fishing closures. Just the radical closure proposed by some. Dont know if you heard, but the laguna city council supports the closure of the entire coast of laguna, but the Mayor is the only one who stood up and said that would be a financial disaster. Go ahead and implement a string of reserves up and down the coast, just do not try to take all the coast from those of us who use it responsibly.
