I love it when people like Ken use the small print discounts to support an unsupportable cause.
Ken doesn't even have a brick & mortar shop anymore, so his overhead is mostly gone.
And clearly, the expense to Ken for a diver who doesn't sign up early, is the same as the diver who does. So the extra fees are just icing on the profit cake.
Not trying to bash you Ken, but there is a substantial number of people out here who aren't the typical stupid, uninformed consumers, who make it possible for businesses to make 100% profit margins.
