I intend to continue to go to Point Dume regardless of it's closure, and I invite the State to "Taze" me for doing so.
I grew up at Point Dume. It is a gorgeous and profoundly serene place to bring children. It is always frequented by sensitive, nature-loving citizens. Parking was free for decades, until just recently. They have collected a lot of money from beach-goers as of late. Where has it all gone? To close Point Dume down represents the death of something very special. it represents the death of my California.

I repeat: I will continue to go to point Dume. I invite the state to lead me and my four-year old daughter away in handcuffs.
