Yo Chris and Critter. You’ll notice on the list from the web site Pat posted that there were a large number of sightings of small GWS by surfers at Sunset Beach. That is just a bit West/Northwest of where we where – it is where Sunset Blvd ends into Pacific Coast Highway. As I said, it is a belief among a number of us is that the GWS give birth in this part of SM Bay where the small ones feed on fish and then, as they get bigger, move on (hopefully) to places with larger numbers of marine mammals. Of course, as marine mammal populations have really expanded in the past few decades in S. California, we can expect to see more of the larger sharks hanging around. I just do NOT want to meet up with them in the water.
