There was quite a bit of outer water chop that worked its way into Issi Cove, diminishing visibility with quite a bit of stirred up material. Fewer fish today, but still a good dive - 68 F and easy entry / exit.

One group of divers returned from the outer reef and reported a large cabazon sighting plus numerous bugs - they had to cut their exploration short due to a fishing party boat that stopped on top of the reef (divers had no flag - not sure if it would have made a difference). A couple of free divers were up from Orange County - they said a friend had landed a large 64 lb. white sea bass the last week.

With the 8 second swell intervals even with the small swell sizes, vis definitely diminished... wait for the 12 to 14 sec. intervals - has more influence.
