this thread should be about where you dive not what you dive. In so cal an off the rack suit, I use a Tilos 7-6-5 hyperstretch chest zip model, works just fine including multiple night dives for bugs where the water temp rarely drops below 51 degrees. I use 15lbs of lead with that suit and that is what it takes to make shallow beach dives chasing bugs. What does a half inch farmer john take, 35lbs of lead. Just not practical diving here in so cal.
