Veterans Day Dive to support Disabled Veterans SCUBA Project

The Disabled Veterans SCUBA Project is holding a Veterans Day November 11, 2009 Dive. Local dive boats have agreed to donate $100 of the $125 for a three tank dive at Catalina to the DVSP.

Our project provides SCUBA instruction to paralyzed veterans and veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injuries (signature wound of Iraq & Afghanistan) and poly-trauma (multiple injuries). SCUBA Diving has shown itself to be great therapy for these veterans.

So Far the Sundiver has pledges to provide boats for this project. Some please come out and support us by filling both of their boats. We have invited other dive boats but as yet have not heard an affirmative from them.
