I don't think this is the end of visiting this spot because there are options available as reflected by the management of other MPAs. Reef mooring buoys are in use in multiple areas for just this purpose. Developing a proposal is the appropriate response. The dive and fishing boats will have to respond as well but the purple hydrocorals will benefit at the end of the day. I think you can call this a short-sighted win.
