There seems to be a bit of controversy about keeping captive whale sharks at the Georgia Public Aquarium, 2 of which have died, and there are claims that PADI is going to offer a speciality on diving in their tank.

We've been asked to help get the word out by some divers who are quite opposed to this, but there are those who welcome it, hence the controversy, so you can read the report at the below link and weigh in for yourself if such magnificent huge animals should be in captivity.
