A float 30 or so feet below the surface with an eye for attaching a temporay line or even anchoring a Zodiac. The dive boat could then anchor or drift a bit of a distance from this site. Simplifies an engineering problem. Had to do a blue water ascent here once - definitely a thought-provoking experience.
