I had spent the earlier part of week replacing the broken helm and then dragging the boat in for a repair of a fuel relay that had cut power to the engine just so we’d be able to make the traditional T-giving AM lobster dive. It was a gorgeous day and Pat comes up saying; “vis was 40 feet but there weren’t a lot of lobsters home” and promptly unloads a limit on the deck. I’m dressing and ready to go in and then, and then, and then - no fuel to the motor – you got to be kidding. Sheller and Patrick then had to put up with me going through every step of the fuel system even though they had determined it is the fuel pump. I just had to be convinced as this is too “unfair”. So the rest is history –

P.S. As for the cell phone, a rinse off with fresh water, a “bake” it the sunshine and 3 days in uncooked rice and it now works...
