I posted last spring looking for a site to collect white urchins (Lytechinus pictus)

and was told to try White Point. Looks like I'm finally going to make it down to LA this month, and I'm hoping to dive for them on the 29th, so I can FedEx them to myself and get back to my lab the same day they arrive.

I also could dive on Monday, the 28th. Sunday is less appealing, since they'll have to sit out of the water an extra day.

Anyone care to guess how likely weather is to be favorable? In Seattle, we're just finishing a solid week of beautiful cold, clear weather, while thanks to El Nino, you got our rain...so hopefully that won't happen again.
