We heard all week long there was supposed to be a large swell coming. We checked out conditions at Brooks St in Laguna and saw 1-3' and flat glassy water. We dropped down on the outer reef and had sparkling 30' vis and 58 degree temp. This reef still has a large population of bugs, but not many were out. We looked at many ledges that held a good number of bugs, but the legals were out of reach. I got 4 and my buddy Mark got 2, we were just happy to get in a good dive before this high swell rolls in.
