I have only heard of shore diving in that area. The whole coast of SE Florida does drift diving (except the wrecks) which you may or may not want to do with her. Sometimes the drift is pretty strong, sometimes not. They give you a dive flag (one per dive buddy team) and you drag it along and boat picks you up when you surface. West Palm Beach/Boynton Beach are probably the closest diving to Vero with beginner boat dives. There is diving in Jupiter but I think they tend to do deeper dives and I know the current is pretty strong in that area. Check out: www.puravidadivers.com and www.splashdowndivers.com
