To the south in Palos Verdes, I'd also put in a vote for Pt. Vicente Fishing Access (at least that's its longstanding name -- next year or so we'll have to find something else to call it?). I've had some very enjoyable freedive sessions there ... octopus, bat rays and horn sharks in the shallows.
