My coolest find underwater so far: a .50-caliber shell casing at 30' in Malibu. The stamp shows it was made at the St. Louis armory in 1943.

My guess is that it came from a plane built locally during the war, and the pilot test fired the guns over the water prior to delivering it to the miltary. Who knows ...
